Annabelle Louie: the Snow White of Hong Kong
Shortly after Annabelle Louie emerged onto the Cantopop scene, she was dubbed the Snow White of Hong Kong for her sweet voice, innocent looks and spirited personality. Many recognize Annabelle for her hit , which has become a signature song for many karaoke enthusiasts. Although her stint in the recording business was short, Annabelle remains active in the entertainment industry, appearing on her local Chinese television, performing as a special guest in concerts such as Francis Yip's and giving voice lessons to youngsters. Recently, she starred with Hong Kong's favorite oldies pop stars Francis Yip, Elisa Chan, Johnny Yip and Teresa Carpio in a long-running theatre production called Jubilee. Though she's not recording anymore, Annabelle urges the young artists of today to work hard and learn as much as they can.
