My Memories Of You Will Never Fade

I have been to listening to and loving Danny's music since I was 9 years old. Though he has been gone for almost 12 years, his memories and songs still live vividly in my mind. Danny’s passing was a great lost to all of us and he will forever be missed!
“The purple flowers are there to remind you that there is someone out there missing you and that certain someone will always love you! Rest in peace Danny!”
A forever shining star

The first time i was introduced to Danny was when i watched a concert on video which gave tribute to him after his death. At that moment i really admired his talent, but it is also extremely dissapointing because he passed away before i got to know him. He is one of the best singers of all time and no-one can ever replace him from my heart. Love you always Danny.
Danny is a unique artist and a unique person

He devoted his heart in his music. He has such a gentle, innocent and touching voice. His songs are full of emotion, with beautiful melodies like river flowing. The singer himself was like a purple crystal, pure and perfect, yet so brittle. Once you fall in love with his music, you will find it is hard to bear almost all other songs playing in the ratios and TVs. They are simply too comercial and noisy. I feel very very sad that such a talented artist had such a sad ending. What if he learned to accept inperfection in this realistic world and learned to take care of himselt...

You'd been a great artist and made a lot of great music! It is a pity that you'd left us in such early age! Miss you a lot! It would been nice to hear your voice if you haven't ...
Love you forever!
Danny Chan (same name lah!) from Singapore on March 2, 2005
Coincidentally, I share the same name as him
but unfortunately, that's where the similarities
end.
I think that Danny is a unique vocalist ---
although he does not have a big voice the
likes of Josh Groban or Michael Buble have ---
but share the same uncanny ability to tug at
your heartstrings with mere song and lyric that
only a handful of singers today are able to.
Although a portrait of bashful humility, Danny
seem to exude pure confidence through his
music, be it in the way he enunciates the
words or augments the melodies to inject his
own flavour and style. He sings with an air of
innocence that belies his years in the pop
business and that which captures the
essence of something heartfelt, and void of
pretentiousness --- a quality absent from his
peers like Leslie Cheung or even Sam Hui.
Danny's star in the Hong Kong music
constellation has not diminished the way
many before and after him have and will, for
one simple fact --- he sings straight from the
heart, and for those of us fortunate to have
been touched by his musical legacy, we know
the difference. And so will you...
