"The Master of Surprise"
George Lam has been called "The Master of Surprise" by The South China Morning Post.
And he is. With George, better known as "Ah Lam," you never know what you're gonna get.
Superimposing his face on the bodies of Beethoven and Mona Lisa, George has a way with unconventional
and satirical humor. George is not a "packaged" recording artist like most.
This singer/songwriter/producer brings inspiration and creativity that fans cannot find
anywhere else. His unique singing style is contagious. It's hard not to find yourself belting
out to his music.

Best Canto-pop singer of all time !
Steven Yaw from Perak, Malaysia on October 13, 2005
Lam is my favorite singer of all time from my age of 14 till now, a father of one. His versative voice and quality of music is undeniable. He doesnt't need much packaging and promotion unlike modern-day singers/artistes. His songs and voice can just sell. Wish him all the best till he is really retired from the music arena.
Rediscovery--a true master!

When I was in high school 15 years ago, George was my favorite singer. His unique voice, versatility, creativity and detachment marked him well above other Cantonese singers. Later my interest shifted to classical music. But recently, when I happened to hear George's voice again, I found that it could still touch my soul, bring tears to my eyes. A precious rediscovery--George is definitely a true master, getting better and better with time goes by!

YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME THAT GEORGE IS ALMOST 60! I saw a 2001 concert where George teamed up with Eason Chan. George is about 2x Eason's age, yet he's so full of energy, running around the stage and singing with his powerful voice. At this rate, I think he can sing until he's 80!
