I agree with u phd, I think that the survival of an artist in the industry, particularly the one in hk, knowing what to say and when to say is just as important as musical ability. The best thing about Ken's voice and his songs is that it is so genuine, which is a reflection of his personality. His songs "echoes every emtion in the heart" because it came from the heart.
Lost star amongst idols

Ken Choi, was popular in the 80's, did not make the transition into a bigger star due to his lack of communiation skills. He often dissed his fellow colleague and did not know when to close his mouth. He still had his fan base and popularity, might I add a wonderful voice that echoed every emotion in his songs.
He would be the 80's version of Hacken Lee, who also cannot stop saying the wrong things.
