Lesley Lee is wonderful!

Lesley has the most amazing voice!! She is at once mature and feminine, and is capable of displaying great emotion with her strong voice. I have recommended her albums time and time again to my friends, and everyone who has listened also feels that she is exceedingly talented. Unfortunately, those who do not listen to my advice never have the chance to fully experience her unique and extraordinary style, so please do not disregard this review! Her interpretation of the song "I shall marry you tomorrow" is better than all the others that I've heard. Effortlessly feminine, she can interwine between hushed whispers and singing in a very creative pattern, taking you on a ride with pleasantly surprising turns and twists.

Her interpretation of the song "I shall marry you tomorrow" is better than all the others that I've heard (Emil Zhou's, Faye Wong's, etc). Effortlessly feminine, she can interwine between hushed whispers and singing in a very creative pattern, taking you on a ride with pleasantly surprising turns and twists. A distinct style I haven't heard elsewhere before. Her voice is more dynamic than Sandy Lam's, more sophisticated and feminine than Faye Wong's. And she looks slender and waiflike. So why isn't she more popular?

Lesley is an amazing singer, and is capable of conveying incredible emotion with her voice. I love all the songs I've heard her sing, especially "Don't Wanna Open My Eyes" (She Bu De Ba Yan Jing zheng Kai). Every time I listen to her CDs, I can't help but wonder why she isn't more popular. Emil Chau (Zhou Hua Jian) wrote a couple songs for her and they even sang some great duets together. Nowadays, when Chinese pop stars have all become loud and obnoxious, and are all about the sexy bodies and Americanized sound, I'm glad there's still someone like Lesley Lee (Li Du) who sings so beautifully and whose voice is truly worthy of being heard.
