In the Mood for Tony
What else can we say about Tony Leung? He's hot, hot, hot. His sexual energy lights up the camera. He is gentle yet full of tension. His mood is serene yet fiery. One of my favorites from him, In the Mood for Love, demonstrates Tony's acting ability to the heights. Looking at him gives you the butterflies, and I wouldn't

What an actor!
Anonymous on August 5, 2005
This guy is absolutely unbelievable! I cannot think of a single actor in Hong Kong better than Tony Leung except for Chow Yuen Fat. I love the fact that he doesn't conform, and would rather take the not-so-coveted dark anti-hero roles rather than the "prince charming" roles. And he plays them so well that it's enough to make the toughest critics impressed. Andy Lau should really pay attention to this guy, because that's the reason why he lost the "best actor" award to Tony in "Infernal Affairs".

no longer afraid of Loneliness

Sheila Holton-Brown from Grantown on Spey, Scotland, UK on September 22, 2004
Listening to Tony Leung Chiu Wai is like being wrapped in velvet and kissed all over. Can I say that without being censored? LOL I have to agree with Sandra below that The Past and the Future is a wonderful album. I thought he could not do better. Then I heard the Wind and Sand album and I was totally knocked out! I do wish he would record more albums. He should not be so modest about his singing talent. His style is unique! Like everything he does it is approached and executed with total professionalism. Come on Tony more sublime songs please!

Always My Favorite
Melinda Henley from Houston, TX USA on July 29, 2004
The first time I saw Tony Leung Chiu-Wai was in "Heavenly Sword & Dragon Saber," when I was about 7 years old. Ever since then I have been captivated by his onscreen presence. There is something in his eyes that simply mesmerizes me. As I matured I found him to be irresistable; he is the devil with the cigarette, his stare is both charming and toxic; his look is unforgettable. I enjoy all of his work - from his TVB series to all of his movies. my favorite TVB series is "Police Cadet '84" and my favorite movie is "In the Mood for Love." No matter what has happened in my life, no matter how old I get, 'Wai Jai' will always be my favorite actor of all time.

Another romantic artist

If you think Tony could only melt you on screen, listen to his songs. His voice is deep and sexy and at times lazy...perfect for the songs written for him. The Tony's Greatest Hits double CD album is a treasure. Even though the songs are slow ballads, they are beautifully sung and very romantic. It is the choice in my household when it comes to music before bedtime, even for the children. His Wind and Sand album is outstanding. David Tao wrote Track 1 and 5 for him which fits his voice and style. If you ever have a chance to get his THE PAST AND THE FUTURE album from auctions, do so. You could hear his dialog and it is by Impact Recording Studio which produces many concerts in Hong Kong and the sound effects on the Cantonese version is superb. You hear his deep voice that mesmerizes not just me, but my husband too...and his songs has very clear tonal quality and sound effects...sigh...it's like in paradise when you hear his songs. And if you read the lyrics, they are all about lost love or hard earned love to be treasured...very romantic. Just make sure you have great speakers and amplifiers.
