Ekin Returns to BMG After Political Refrigeration
MING PAO - Ekin Cheng and his contract with EEG is up, and he has now been given an advance of HKD $8,888,888 to go back to BMG. BMG proposed the 7-figure salary full of number 8s for good luck. Ekin will be welcomed back into the BMG family on April 19. Jordan Chan is BMG's artist roster's top dog, mainly because he is the only singer based in Hong Kong. Jordan says he fully welcomes Ekin's return and doesn't think his status will be threatened. The two are good friends and hope they can work together. For a period, Ekin didn't release any records but he hasn't given up. Ekin's new album is to be released this May and he's confident that fans will experience a new sound and feeling.
